Jessica Jeza Vautor is a singer from Martinique based in Los Angeles. The daughter of acclaimed guitarist and composer Robin Vautor, she began performing professionally at age 12, touring internationally with the Caribbean jazz group Fal Frett. After studying opera at the École Normale de Musique Alfred Cortot and jazz at the CIM in Paris, Jessica moved to Los Angeles to continue her education at the Musicians Institute under renowned pianist Carl Schroeder. A versatile vocalist, she performs jazz, classical, Caribbean, Brazilian, and contemporary music. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with acclaimed artists including Stanley Clarke, Randy Brecker, Billy Childs, Kamasi Washington, Thundercat, Flea, Otmaro Ruiz, and Vardan Ovsepian. She has also recorded for film soundtracks, Disney productions, and television commercials. Jessica performs internationally in French, English, Portuguese, Italian, and Creole. She is currently recording her debut solo album with Grammy-winning engineer Bill Schnee and teaches at both the Los Angeles College of Music and the Silverlake Conservatory of Music.
